Born on 18 March 2008, Honeyfields Breaksea Boy is our new kid on the block and we  are awaiting his first progeny due in early 2010 with a great sense of excitement. He is a well grown out young alpaca with great conformation and presence. His incredibly beautiful pale apricot-coloured fleece is soft handling and

 

dense with well-defined staples of a high frequency, deep amplitude crimp style.

His sire, Premier Fernando, is a recommended SRS® wool male who is holding his fineness (21.21µ on his fourth shear), and cuts a massive fleece (6.45kgs on his fourth shear). His dam, Honeyfields Sonata, has been placed 1st in every show she has entered - in both breed and fleece classes - and has a similar fleece style to Breaksea Boy. Her third fleece was only 19.89µ with a 99%CF.

Breaksea Boy has an impressive genetic background and we believe that he will produce some stunning offspring. As he is still fairly new to his life as a stud male, he will only be available for a limited number of outside matings in the 2010/2011 season.
